Puppies 8 to 9 weeks old

  The puppies are so active, so smart and so funny. They come when I call, they are learning to take treats and have been exploring the yard and the house. They have been getting visitors. And they know how to use the dog door!  I noticed in my pictures this time the puppies are mostly sleeping. I think it's because they are ALWAYS moving unless they are asleep! Puppies 5 to 6 weeks old!

The puppies are 6 weeks old now. I cannot believe how fast time is flying by. They are getting so interactive and so playful. They come running when I call them and love to follow us all around the house and yard now.  All shyness or timidness is gone and they're a rambunctious crew now. Their potty training is going well. I constructed Misty a bench she can jump up on to get away from the puppies if she wants to escape them. She sits on her perch like a queen!  They go outside even when it's cold, and I made sure to take them out into the rain to get them used to that.  Puppy Culture work has included introducing new items to the pups daily including the mop, the broom, different kinds of music, the Christmas tree, all manner of new toys, things that go crinkle and squeak, etc. They are also taking treats from my hand. As soon as they truly understand what a treat is and are excited for it, I can start to do more.  They have been doing barrier challenges where they ...
